Wedding Submissions

Oh how we love to feature real destination weddings!  But we have a few guidelines, so bear with us.

First, be sure that you submit fresh content.  We really hate it when we’re about to pee our pants with excitement over gorgeous destination eye candy, only to find it published on 3 or 4 other blogs.  Don’t be that guy.  Or girl.

Second, be sure your photos are 600-700 pixels wide at a minimum.  Leave out your watermarks.

Third, include tons of images and tons of detail!  How many images you ask?  How about 40-50.  How much detail you ask?  Umm, hello?  LOTS!  We love details!

Fourth, if you’re a photographer doing the submitting, awesome.  If you’re someone else (bride/planner/etc.) we are assuming that you have permission from the photographer to publish these photos.

Fifth, .zip files are preferred.  Or we gladly accept submissions via Two Bright Lights.  Either way!

Sixth, due to the large volume of daily submissions, we ask that you please be patient. We would absolutely be thrilled to respond to every email that comes our way, but it’s just not in the cards.  If after 14 days you have not heard from us, please send us another email or simply submit your content elsewhere.

And seventh, if at first you don’t succeed, have a margarita.
